Rice milling is the process of separating husk, bran and black rice, thereby providing quality edible rice. Before the rice milling process the paddy collected from the farmers undergoes a series of processes. The paddy is cleaned, soaked, boiled and dried before moving to the process of milling.
First and the most important step in this process is the selection of quality paddy from selected fields with a moisture content of 14% and we always ensure this while paddy procurement.
The selected paddy is thoroughly pre cleaned by passing through pre cleaner and de stoner machines where unwanted particles and impurities are removed from raw paddy.
This raw paddy then undergoes parboiling through hot water soaking and steaming which enriches the nutritional value of rice kernels. It is then dried. For this we are equipped with the most modern drier system accepted by CFTRI.
The dried paddy is once again pre cleaned ahead of milling for the quality output and it undergoes hulling where the husk is removed from rice kernels.
The de husked rice kernel is passed through a set of three whitener machines that removes the bran from rice and is then passed through silky machine which improves the appearance and quality of the rice.
The rice then moves through a series of grading processes which eliminates the broken and unmatured rice that further ensures the uniform size of the rice.
This rice then passes through the most modern Japanese technology colour sorting machine that removes the black and discolored rice.
The rice that we provide is of highest quality and is packed with all standards.
